Mgr. Silvia Rutland received her Master’s degree in law and legal science in 2009. She passed the bar exam at the Czech Bar Association in 2013 and has been working as an independent lawyer in Prague since 1 July 2013. She completed her internship at the law office Sodomka,Souček,Jindra,Mokrý and partners, where she dealt mainly with commercial law issues (establishment and liquidation of companies, general meetings, changes within companies, insolvency proceedings, commercial disputes). She also has experience in the field of civil law (transfers and leases of real estate, debt collection, contract drafting and reviews, representation in court proceedings). For a long time, she has also been providing legal advice to foreigners in connection with residence permits in the Czech Republic, including representation in administrative proceedings.
In her current practice, Silvia specializes primarily in family law. Whether you are dealing with divorce, settlement of marital assets, matters related to custody of minors, maintenance fee issues, adoption or determination of paternity, Silvia will advise you and help you navigate in a new life situation. She considers as the greatest success, when parties to a family dispute are able to reach an agreement. She provides legal services in Czech, English and Slovak.
